Powerball X's and O's is the new NFL-themed multi-state lottery game, developed by the Multi-State Lottery Association in partnership with the NFL. Instead of picking numbers, players choose 8 team logos from all 32 NFL franchises, with drawings held on Sunday evenings to align with the NFL schedule.
How to Play X’s and O’s
Head to a Retailer
Purchase a playslip from any authorized lottery retailer operating in a state that offers the game. Alternatively, play via the mobile app.
Choose 8 NFL Teams
Mark 8 NFL logos on your playslip or mark the Quick Pick box to have a computer randomly select them. There are 32 available league teams on each slip.
Pay for your Ticket
Hand your completed play slip to the retailer or submit it digitally. Each individual play costs $5 and offers better jackpot odds compared to Powerball or Mega Millions.
Watch the Drawing & Check for Matches
Tune in to see the results every Sunday night and then check for matches. Prize tiers range from $7 to the jackpot, the minimum match to win a prize is 4/8.
